Comparison

Feedonomics vs DataFeedWatch

Feedonomics runs your feeds for you and prices by quote. DataFeedWatch gives you a rules engine and publishes four plans, from $64 a month for 1,000 SKUs and three feeds to $239 for 30,000 SKUs and 150 feeds. The two overlap on what a feed is and differ on who does the work. This page lists what each publishes, so the comparison is on facts rather than on either vendor's claims about the other.

We connect your store, build the feed and keep it in sync. Updated 2026-10-27.

At a glance

  • Feedonomics: no published prices; plans tailored to SKU count, channel type, number of channels and service level; dedicated feed manager and 24/7 support; 2,000+ destinations; no revenue share; trial not published.
  • DataFeedWatch: Shop $64/mo (1k SKUs, 3 feeds, 1 sync/day), Merchant $84/mo (5k, 10, 2 syncs), Agency $239/mo (30k, 150, 5 syncs), Enterprise custom (100k); 15-day trial with card; AI titles, descriptions and categorization on every plan in 10 languages.
  • Pick Feedonomics if the feeds should be someone else's job and the catalog or channel list is large. Pick DataFeedWatch if you want to own the rules at a published price and can run them in-house.
  • For stores that want the setup done for them without a full-service contract, we set up Textfinity feeds for the main ad and shopping channels, quoted per catalog; it is in the table for that case only.

Pricing: a quote versus a price list

Feedonomics' pricing page contains no numbers. Its words are that plans are tailored to SKU count, channel type, number of channels and service level, that you fill in a form to schedule a call and receive a quote, and that it never takes a percentage of revenue. Nothing about trial length, contract term or overage is published.

DataFeedWatch publishes everything. The page prices by a SKU slider and shows four plans with SKU, feed, shop and sync limits, support response times, per-1,000-SKU overage from $5 down to $2, add-ons (50 feeds for $50, extra shop $24, Automated Search Ads from $64, Managed Service from $750), a 15-day trial, and a yearly discount of 17%. EU visitors see euro prices (€54, €74, €219). The FAQ explains that a credit card is required for the trial.

Service model and support

Feedonomics' home page describes a dedicated feed manager, hands-on implementation, enhanced market strategy and responsive 24/7 support. Changes to your feeds go through their team. DataFeedWatch's model is self-serve with human support scaled by plan: email with a 24-hour reply on Shop, email and chat within a few hours on Merchant, priority chat within ten minutes plus 24/7 monitoring and a dedicated success agent on Agency. It also sells a feed mapping service (initial configuration of one to five feeds by plan) and a managed service for teams that want the Feedonomics-style arrangement on top of the software.

The practical question is response time to a change you need. With a managed service it is a ticket cycle; with self-serve it is as fast as you are. Teams that make daily rule changes tend to prefer the latter; teams that make quarterly changes and have no specialist tend to prefer the former.

Features both publish

Sources: Feedonomics names Shopify, BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Oracle NetSuite and custom. DataFeedWatch names Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Shift4Shop, Magento and more, plus custom sources via Google Sheets, txt, XML or JSON file and a Shopify Markets integration. Destinations: 2,000+ on both.

AI: Feedonomics lists AI data enrichment as a capability; DataFeedWatch lists AI 1-Click Feed, AI titles and descriptions, AI categorization and AI data extraction on every plan, in English and ten other languages, with an A/B test for AI titles. Feed checks: DataFeedWatch publishes an automatic feed review for correctness, missing data and GTIN validity; Feedonomics publishes data governance rules at platform scale. Orders: Feedonomics publishes order orchestration and sync to BigCommerce and Shopify; DataFeedWatch's pricing page lists marketplace feeds but no order sync.

The small-catalog case

Neither vendor is built for a 300-SKU store, and the search for this comparison often comes from one. DataFeedWatch's Shop plan is $64 a month for up to 1,000 SKUs and you run it yourself; Feedonomics is a quote for a full service. Textfinity sits between: feed software quoted per catalog after a short call, which we set up for you. We configure the mapping with regex and expression rules, Google Sheet lookups, reviewed AI titles and translation, and feed hygiene profiling, and register each feed URL with you in Merchant Center or Commerce Manager. It has no order sync, no diagnostics import and no 2,000-destination reach, which is why it belongs in the table only for the feeds-only case.

Examples

Worked examples, by situation

Three feed tasks and how they land under each model. The Textfinity version is the rule we set up for a small catalog.

Supplements · Google Shopping · 850 SKUs · Shopify

Size and count in the title

Before

Title: Omega-3 Fish Oil

After

Title: Nordic Omega-3 Fish Oil 1000mg, 120 Softgels

How we set it up

We map title as a combine of vendor, title, strength and count with a comma delimiter, where strength and count come from Shopify metafields pulled with the native connection. DataFeedWatch: a combine rule; Feedonomics: a request to the feed manager.

Lighting · Meta catalog · 3,900 SKUs · Magento export

Filter out bulbs sold only in packs of 50

Before

3,900 SKUs; 400 trade-only pack sizes

After

3,500 SKUs in the Meta feed

How we set it up

We add an exclude filter "pack_size is greater or equal to 50". DataFeedWatch: an exclude rule on the same column. The Magento export URL is the source in both.

Cosmetics · Google Shopping SE and FI · 1,200 SKUs · two languages

Finnish descriptions from Swedish copy

Before

description (fi): (empty)

After

description (fi): generated Finnish description of 500–1,000 characters, accepted in review

How we set it up

An AI config enhances the description and translates it into Finnish; once the generations are reviewed and accepted, we map description as a replace from AI config with the Swedish description as fallback. DataFeedWatch's AI publishes ten languages including Swedish and Danish but not Finnish, so its rules engine would handle Finnish instead.

How to compare Feedonomics and DataFeedWatch for your catalog

Five steps that keep the comparison on published facts and your own workload.

  1. 01

    Measure the workload

Count rule changes, new channels and disapproval fixes from the last quarter, and who did them. That number decides whether a managed service is a convenience or a necessity.

  2. 02

    Price DataFeedWatch from the slider

Set SKUs to your variant count and pick the plan whose feed and sync limits you need. Add Managed Service from $750 if you want the done-for-you option.

  3. 03

Get a Feedonomics quote for the same scope

Give the same SKU count, channel list and service level, and ask about contract term and exit terms, since the pricing page publishes neither.

  4. 04

    Price the feeds-only path

If the job is ad and shopping feeds only, get a quote for feed-only software set up for you, on the same scope. If the mapping is straightforward, the question of a full-service contract may be moot.

What we set up: We connect the store, build the Google Shopping feed from its template and set the transform for each column.
  5. 05

Run two sources for one cycle

Add the new feed as a second data source in Merchant Center (outside the feed tool), compare counts and disapprovals, then remove the old one.

Customization tips

Make it yours

Count SKUs as variants

DataFeedWatch states that a product with five color variants is five SKUs. Price every option on that basis, including Feedonomics' quote, so the numbers compare.

Check which languages the AI covers

DataFeedWatch publishes ten AI languages. If your markets include one outside that list, the rules engine handles it instead of AI. Textfinity's AI configs take a target language per config, from a list of 25 European languages.

Ask what you own if you leave

Neither pricing page states exit terms. Before signing a managed contract, get in writing whether rule logic and mappings are exportable or only the output files.

Do not pay for syncs you do not need

DataFeedWatch's plans differ in daily syncs (1, 2, 5). A store whose prices change weekly is fine on one; a store with hourly stock swings is not. Match the tier to the stock, not the SKU count.

FAQ

Questions about feedonomics vs datafeedwatch

Which is cheaper, Feedonomics or DataFeedWatch?

DataFeedWatch publishes prices from $64 a month and Feedonomics publishes none, so only a quote can answer it for your catalog. Third-party estimates of Feedonomics contracts exist but are not from Feedonomics and are not used on this page.

Does DataFeedWatch offer a managed service like Feedonomics?

Yes. Its pricing page lists a Managed Service starting at $750 and a feed mapping service included by plan (one to five feeds). The base plans are self-serve.

Does Feedonomics have a free trial?

Its pricing page does not mention one; the calls to action are a quote request and a free feed audit. DataFeedWatch has a 15-day trial that requires a card.

Is there an option for a store under 1,000 SKUs?

DataFeedWatch's Shop plan covers up to 1,000 SKUs for $64 a month, set up by you. With Textfinity we set the feeds up in the software for you instead, quoted per catalog after a short call, which suits small catalogs with no feed specialist.
