Lengow alternative

Lengow is a four-product suite: NetAmplify for ad feeds, NetMarkets for marketplaces, NetRivals for competitor prices and NetMonitor for reseller activity, sold to brands and retailers on demo-and-quote pricing. If the only part you use is the ad feed, you are paying for a platform. This page compares what Lengow publishes with what Textfinity does for the feed job alone.

We connect your store, build the feed and keep it in sync. Updated 2026-10-27.

At a glance

  • Lengow does not publish prices, SKU limits, a free trial or a hosting region; it offers a demo.
  • NetAmplify sends feeds to 400+ ad destinations; NetMarkets connects 70+ marketplaces with listings, prices and orders.
  • Textfinity is feed-only: 11 channel templates plus custom feeds, no order sync, no price intelligence; quoted per catalog, and we set it up for you.
  • Choose Lengow if marketplaces and pricing data are the job; choose a feed tool if the job is a clean Google, Meta or comparison-site feed.

Lengow vs Textfinity on the facts each one publishes

Every Lengow cell below comes from lengow.com on the date in the footnote. Lengow's pricing page offers a demo and lists scale figures (17+ years, 3,600+ brands and retailers, 1B+ products monitored on 35K+ websites in 70+ countries) but no plan, price or limit, so those cells read 'not published'. Textfinity cells come from its own product documentation.

What Lengow does that a feed tool does not

Lengow's own description of its suite makes the gap clear. NetMarkets 'simplifies marketplace selling' by connecting to 70+ platforms with listings, prices and orders synced. NetRivals tracks market prices, lets you define rules and applies dynamic pricing across channels. NetMonitor flags unauthorized sellers, MAP breaches and stock issues. NetAmplify, the feed product, can pause SKUs with low POAS or conversion using clean-up logic and re-entry rules, and can stop ads for a SKU when NetMonitor spots a reseller below MAP.

Textfinity does none of the non-feed parts. It has no marketplace order management, no price monitoring, no campaign automation and no PPC reporting. It publishes Amazon and eBay listing feeds, but orders stay in your store or marketplace account. If your reason for Lengow is NetMarkets or NetRivals, a feed tool is a complement, not a replacement.

When a Lengow alternative is the right call

Three situations come up repeatedly. First, a store with one catalog and a few ad channels that signed up for the suite and uses one module. Second, an agency running feeds for several small clients that needs a feed cost sized to a client with 500 SKUs, not a suite. Third, a merchant who needs to know where product and price data is processed, because Lengow's pages do not state a hosting region.

Textfinity's answer to all three is the same: feed software quoted per catalog after a short call, sized to the feed job alone, and set up for you. We configure mapping, filtering, scheduled publishing and, where it helps, AI titles, descriptions and translation; the software then rebuilds each feed on schedule. Processing runs on Hetzner servers in Germany; AI runs on Vertex AI EU endpoints; the operator is Datafinity AB in Sweden.

Feed rules, AI and channels compared

Lengow's unified-data page gives one NetAmplify rule example (pause low-performing SKUs after a 7-day window) and says the product adapts titles, adds pricing context and removes weak performers; it does not publish the full rule set, and an 'AI Studio' appears in the menu without a description. Textfinity's rules are enumerated: per-column transforms (rename, combine, capitalize, static value, prefix, suffix, remove or replace from regexp, Google Sheet lookup and extract, replace from AI config, advanced DSL) and 26 filter operators from 'includes' to 'matches regexp' and 'is in google sheet list'.

Performance-based rules are the one place the models differ in kind. Lengow pauses SKUs on POAS or conversion; Textfinity has no ad data, so a pause has to be driven by a column you supply, typically a Google Sheet of SKUs to exclude maintained from your ads reporting. That is a manual step, and it is the honest limit of a tool that never touches the ad account.

On channels: Lengow's NetAmplify figure is 400+ ad destinations. Textfinity templates cover Google Shopping (and free listings), Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Snapchat Ads, Amazon Ads, eBay, Kelkoo, Prisjakt and PriceRunner, plus custom feeds with the channel's own columns for any channel that fetches a CSV or TSV URL, such as Idealo, Awin or Criteo. Each feed is a URL the channel fetches on a schedule; we register it with you in Merchant Center and Commerce Manager.

What moving a feed off Lengow looks like

The feed logic migrates as a list of columns. For each output attribute, note where the value comes from and what is done to it, then rebuild it as one mapping rule. Exclusions become filter rules. Performance pauses become a Google Sheet list. Run the two feeds side by side for one sync, compare product counts and a sample of titles, then repoint the channel.

Rule translation cheat sheet

title with price context   -> advanced: [brand] + " " + [title] + " - from " + [price]
remove weak performers -> filter: exclude if [sku] is in google sheet list
marketplace category map -> replace from google sheet: category -> channel_category (if [category] is in google sheet list)
hide items below margin -> filter: exclude if [price] is less than 15

Examples

Worked examples, by situation

Three stores that kept the feed outcome and dropped the suite. Each pair shows the output they needed and the Textfinity rule that produces it.

Fashion · Google Shopping + Meta · 2,500 SKUs · France

Exclude poor performers without ad-platform data

Before

Feed carries all 2,500 variants, including 310 the ads team wants paused

After

Feed carries 2,190 variants; the paused list is a shared sheet the ads team edits weekly

How we set it up

We add an exclude filter "sku is in google sheet list" (the sheet's first column holds SKUs to pause). The ads team owns the sheet; the feed rebuilds on the next scheduled sync.

Home appliances · Idealo + Google Shopping · 900 SKUs · Germany

Add price context to titles for a comparison site

Before

Bosch Serie 4 Waschmaschine

After

Bosch Serie 4 WAN28K43 Waschmaschine 8 kg, 1400 U/min, EEK A

How we set it up

We map title as a combine of brand, series, model, product_type, capacity, spin and energy_class with delimiter " ". The Google Shopping template and a custom feed with idealo's columns share the same source columns, so the rule is built once per feed.

Jewelry · Pinterest + Google Shopping · 400 SKUs · US and Canada

Translate descriptions for a second market

Before

Description: "14k gold-filled huggie hoops, 12 mm, hypoallergenic."

After

Description (French, opening of a 500–1,000-character text): "Créoles huggie en gold-filled 14 carats, 12 mm, hypoallergéniques."

How we set it up

An AI config enhances the description and translates it into French, reading description and material; once the generations are reviewed and accepted, we map description as a replace from AI config, which uses accepted generations only, with fallback to the English description.

Copy this plan

Replace the feed module in one session

Keep Lengow's other modules running if you use them; this plan only moves the ad feed.

  1. 01

    Connect the catalog

Shopify connects natively. WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop and BigCommerce connect through a CSV export URL or a Google Shopping XML feed URL. Add a Google Sheet as a merged source for columns the export lacks.

What we set up: We set up your Shopify store, CSV or XML URL, or Google Sheet as the source, plus any merged source.
  2. 02

Create the Google Shopping feed first

It is the strictest spec, and the same mapped columns feed Microsoft Shopping, Meta and most comparison sites afterwards.

What we set up: We build the Google Shopping feed first, from its template.
  3. 03

Rebuild each title and description rule

Use combine for straightforward concatenation, the advanced DSL when a value depends on a condition, and replace from regexp for cleanups.

What we set up: We map title and description rule by rule as a combine or an advanced expression.
  4. 04

Move exclusions into filters and a sheet

Static exclusions (gift cards, samples, out of stock) are filter rules. Performance exclusions live in a Google Sheet your ads team maintains.

What we set up: We add the exclusions as filter rules, including "is in google sheet list" for the performance sheet.
  5. 05

Profile the output with feed hygiene

Catch empty required columns, titles over Google's 150 characters, mixed languages and broken image URLs before the channel does.

What we set up: We run feed hygiene on the output and fix what it flags.
  6. 06

    Repoint the channels

Add the feed URL as a scheduled fetch in Merchant Center and Commerce Manager, and paste it into Idealo or other comparison sites. Remove the Lengow source once the new feed shows processed. These steps happen in each channel's own console.

What we set up: We register the feed URLs with you: you give us access, or we walk you through each console.

Customization tips

Make it yours

Keep performance data out of the feed tool on purpose

A sheet of SKUs to pause is cruder than a POAS rule, but it is auditable and anyone on the team can edit it. The cost is a weekly manual update.

Use one feed for Google and Microsoft

Microsoft Shopping accepts the Google attribute names, so one well-mapped feed covers both and halves the rules to maintain.

Decide whether you need AI at all

If your Lengow setup only renamed and filtered, the feed needs no AI config. Add one only for translation or generated descriptions, which are reviewed before a feed uses them.

Do not expect marketplace order sync

Amazon and eBay feeds from Textfinity are listing files. Orders, inventory write-back and price-intelligence tools stay with your marketplace stack.

FAQ

Questions about lengow alternative

How much does Lengow cost?

Lengow does not publish prices. Its pricing page offers a free demo of the platform and lists scale figures, but no plan tiers, SKU limits or monthly fees.

Does Lengow offer a free trial?

Lengow's pricing page mentions a free demo, not a free trial. Textfinity has no trial either: it is quoted per catalog after a short call, and we set up the feed for you.

Can Textfinity replace Lengow for marketplaces?

Only for the listing feed. Textfinity publishes Amazon and eBay feed files but has no order management, inventory write-back or marketplace rule compliance tooling, which Lengow's NetMarkets provides for 70+ platforms.

Which Lengow alternative has AI product descriptions?

Textfinity's AI configs enhance titles (100–150 characters) or descriptions (500–1,000 characters) per product from chosen attributes, optionally translated into a target language. Generations are reviewed and accepted before a feed uses them.

Is Textfinity hosted in Europe?

Yes. Processing runs on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany, AI on Vertex AI EU endpoints, and the company, Datafinity AB, is based in Sweden. Lengow's pages do not state a hosting region.
